50+ YEARS OF COMMITMENT TO PROGRESS
2014 | TIME FOR THE NEW SINUS ION AND ALPHA² TO SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY.
RiMO Transportgeräte GmbH & Co. KG, WERK II becomes RiMO GERMANY GmbH & Co. KG.
Dipl.-Ing. Peter Bertram – who has been the works manager for many years (and part of the company for 20 years) – acquires the business area along with the property and takes over the permanent staff. 2 new models are launched on the market in parallel with the company take-over.

The new RiMO SiNUS iON appears on the scene and immediately plays its way into the heart of the people interested in electric karts. The electrifying design and new features, such as the integrated WLAN module for fleet controlling and monitoring, the LED headlights and paddies especially designed for the use of the karts with plastic guidance systems, are unparalleled.

As for the petrol-powered and gas-powered karts, it’s the new ALPHA2 as petrol-powered and LPG-powered version that is at the top of the food chain. The vehicle’s technical revolutions elaborated in the background are embodied by the new, avant-garde robe. The good nature and durability of the ALPHA series are highly appreciated among experts.
2012 | THE NEW EVO6 ARRIVES – THE SINUS BISYNCHRON COMES EQUIPPED WITH SOUND MODULE AND NEW BMS
RiMO develops an own, redundant, hydraulic dual-circuit braking system – which is unique on the kart market – for DOT 5* brake fluid.
The portfolio of RiMO SiNUS biSynchron is perfected by the new RiMO BMS* including monitoring software and the new on-board sound.
*BMS – Battery Management System
2011 | THE NEW SINUS BISYNCHRON AS WELL AS SIMUS MINI AND SIMUS TWIN MODELS ARE LAUNCHED

LiFeMnPO4 batteries with BMS* are used for the first time
- The use of 100 Ah LiFeMnPO4 batteries allows for one-hour independence of the kart
- The 100 A charger recharges the batteries within 60 minutes only
- The RACS* allows for constant and monitored cooling of the batteries.
- The weight compensation system for up to 30 kg is integrated into the sidepods and allows for long-term races (24h Race of Cologne)
The SiNUS MiNi and SiNUS TWiN models are introduced in parallel with the SiNUS biSynchron. Of course they are equally equipped with dual motor drive.
*BMS – Battery Management System
*RACS – RiMO Advanced Cooling System
2010 | ALPHAE BISYNCHRON TO BE EQUIPPED WITH BI SYNCHRON DRIVE

- One-hour independence of the karts
- Short charging time (not exceeding the driving time, if possible)
- Quiet operation (due to the stricter noise emission standards)
- Reliable and affordable technology
Additionally, there is an increasing demand for kart comfort and higher, more aesthetic sensibility.
The RiMO solution until 2010:
- Shared drive shaft (highest driving comfort and dynamics)
- The permanent-magnet synchronous motors used produce hardly any noise and do not cause particle pollution
- German drive technology ensures reliable operation
2009 | THE RIMO MINI AND RIMO SLALOM KART GET A FACELIFT

The RiMO Slalom Kart for ADAC Slalom Races also gets new bodywork and a new design, whilst the parts are offered by the family as well: The axle and motor covers come from the EVO.
2008 | AT IKA2000, RIMO REVEALS THE EVO5 AND THE FIRST RIMO ELECTRIC KART: ALPHAE

As this emerging segment does not provide any references at that time, it is our turn to do the pioneering work. The proper battery technology and drive as well as the on-board electronics and engine control system have to be found and matched to each other.
Years of basic research
The development work started in 2007 led RiMO to – from today’s point of view – rather conventional drive solutions with DC motor, toothed belt drive, 1 drive shaft and lead-acid batteries.
2007 | THE NEW KART DIMENSION: RIMO ALPHA IS REVEALED AT IKA2000

- New frame
- Motor plate permanently welded to the frame
- Toothed belt tensioner
- Quick release for easy kart maintenance
- Seat adjustment by 120 mm
- New looks thanks to new bodywork available in 4 colours
- Customised decals
2002 | START OF THE 4TH EVOLUTIONARY PHASE

Sportsmen aiming at top performance also put emphasis on top material.
It is the same with Michael Schumacher. The seven-time Formula One World Champion early recognised the potential and quality of RiMO karts and has been placing his trust in our products for 15 years now.
The result is a close and trustful relationship with winners on both sides.
While it is our endeavour to provide the best material only, it is the kart track operator’s major goal to obtain reliable, cost-effective and visually attractive products. Considering these aspects, consistently market-oriented solutions have been developed since the RiMO EVO 1, resulting in the latest RiMO SiNUS iON. Trust in our world-class material and opt for the best.

1999 | TEXPANSION OF THE COMPANY TO RIMO WERK 2 IN SUNDERN
RiMO Werk 2 starts with the construction and production of rental karts.
A young team with experience in the areas of technology, manufacture, production and logistics is complemented by motivated and committed employees.
An own production line including pipe cutters and benders, welding areas, sheet metal and flat steel processing as well as powder coating is created. The in-house hence flexible kart production matches the clients’ increasing demands. A kart manufacture with high demands on quality, service and economic kart operation is born.
